Beloved started out as a shawl design for a friend’s wedding. It quickly took on a life of its own!
This is a lace weight (or light fingering weight) shawl that is worked flat. There is an option at the end to fold the ends in half to be sewn together, to create the sleeves of a shrug. It combines three different lace patterns into one design to create this beautiful piece. It features a picot edging, feather lace, diamond lace, and three entwined diamonds inside a larger diamond.
Beads are worked into the design at both ends and through out the middle.
