Description
The Kelpies is an incredible steel art sculpture just outside of Edinburgh, Scotland. These towering horse heads are built entirely out of steel and took one year to manufacture and 90 days to complete construction. They are meant to look like horses rising out of the water. While they are named after the mythical creature, the Kelpie, the horse heads were actually modeled after Clydesdale horses and were a nod of thank you to the wonderful horses that pulled cargo up and down the canals.
The colorway is a cool gray.

Please note if a color is listed as a ‘backorder’ option, it will be dyed to order and may take up to a week to ship.
Please note that color variations may occur from skein to skein as a result of hand dyeing. I have matched the colors in the photo as close as real life as possible however some differences may be noticed from monitor to monitor. Please also order as many skeins as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.
