Description
Ah, the beautiful Ladyslipper! Did you know the Ladyslipper flower is Minnesota’s state flower? I had an idea last year to design a shawl around the Ladyslipper blossom, with the color matching, and due to life it got put on the back burner. Until now. While this colorway could have gone many ways, – white, pink, and green, or white and pink, or I could have picked a different colored flower – I really wanted to focus on that stunning pink shade. From out of my dye pot came this gorgeous tonal pink color with speckles of mauve throughout. What a perfect color to celebrate moving to Minnesota!
