Description
Resilience is probably one of the few things to come out on the good side of 2020. While this year has been like no other, for everyone, on so many levels, it can be hard to not focus on all the things that have gone wrong, or the things we miss. But there have been some good to come out of it as well – many of us have found a resilience that we did not know we had.
The inspiration for this colorway was Bitterroot flowers blooming in the Craters of the Moon national park in Idaho. The park is made up of lava rock and hardened lava tubes – not exactly the spot you expect to see delicate flowers. But every spring, for about two weeks, Bitterroot flowers cover the park, growing out of the basalt stone showing a strong resilience to their environment.
This colorway has a gray base to it and is speckled with mauve, peach, and hints of black.

Please note that color variations may occur from skein to skein as a result of hand dyeing. I have matched the colors in the photo as close as real life as possible however some differences may be noticed from monitor to monitor. Please also order as many skeins as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.
