Description
Where the Wind Blows was inspired by a mosaic design outside of the Discovery Point museum for the RRS Discovery in Dundee, Scotland. The RRS Discovery was the last traditional wooden three masted ship built in the UK and sailed to Antarctica for research. The stone mosaic represented the winds from the cardinal directions and were in shades of gray, teal and a terracotta color.
I pulled the colors from that mosaic piece and speckled them on yarn.

Please note if a color is listed as a ‘backorder’ option, it will be dyed to order and may take up to a week to ship.
Please note that color variations may occur from skein to skein as a result of hand dyeing. I have matched the colors in the photo as close as real life as possible however some differences may be noticed from monitor to monitor. Please also order as many skeins as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.
