Description
Near Ireland’s western coast is the Burren, a rugged rocky landscape where plants grow when they shouldn’t, the Atlantic near the edge of it can look like liquid jade in the right light. Plants have been found in the Burren that are normally found in tropical landscapes, but here they are in this rocky landscape thriving. In the late afternoon when I took this photo, the tide was just starting to come in and it had that wonderful blue-green tint to it.
This colorway is dyed on a shimmering silk and bamboo yarn base. It’s a wonderful teal blue, with subtle tones of a darker blue. This lovely combination has amazing drape and is incredibly soft, perfect for next to skin items.

Please also order as many skeins as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.
