Embrace the Storm. In the summer of 2018 there were some amazing thunderstorms that rolled through northern Minnesota. The clouds took on rich deep colors and crazy formations. Often there was lightning that filled the sky, especially during the storms that happened at night.

At the same time, I was going through my own ‘storm’ of life. Deep brooding moods, difficult choices, rolling thunder of arguments. Many would have turned and walked away, away from the storm. Somewhere, somehow, I could see a glimmer of light beyond the towering clouds; I chose to embrace the storm and move forward towards that faint glimmer. It certainly wasn’t easy, but I did find sunlight and warmth on the other side.

This particular storm in this photo had lasted for a few hours. I was able to race out to an empty dirt road and catch the storm as it moved on. I had a vision in my head of this storm and dirt road, that symbolized everything that was happening in my life, and the vision worked out. The storm still had a show to put on for my photo.

These yarns are sold as a set. You will receive three kettle dyed skeins total; one skein of charcoal grey with splashes of a steely purple, one skein of light tan with speckles of a darker brown and green, one skein of a medium green with speckles of darker moss throughout.

I have matched the colors in the photo as close as real life as possible however some differences may be noticed from monitor to monitor. Please also order as many skeins as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.
