Glacier Bay yarn set

Description

Glacier Bay is a stunning 3 full size skein set. Inspired by the Alaskan Glacier Bay, this yarn will take you away on a snowy escape. This photo was taken by the lovely Medora Girls, three friends who travel and knit together. They kindly have allowed me the use of this photo.

This kettle dyed set includes one skein of a silvery gray, a speckled skein of blues and gray with almost a watercolor effect to it on my Worn Suitcase base. The third skein is a bright shimmery turquoise on my sparkle Starmap base. They would look amazing worked together in a project.

75% Superwash Merino wool, 25% nylon
Fingering Weight
462 yards / 100 grams
7-8 stitches = 1″ on #1-3 needles
21-32 sc = 4″ on B-E hooks
Machine wash gentle / Tumble dry low

(1) skein of Starmap
75% Superwash Merino wool, 20% nylon, 5% Stellina
Fingering Weight
438 yards / 100 grams

Please note if a color is listed as a ‘backorder’ option, it will be dyed to order and may take up to a week to ship.

Please note that color variations may occur from skein to skein as a result of hand dyeing. I have matched the colors in the photo as close as real life as possible however some differences may be noticed from monitor to monitor. Please also order as many skeins as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.

Included in the photos is a version of Magical Thinking by Casapinka, knit up in this set.  Please note, Magical Thinking pattern is not included in this set, it is just showing one example of something you could make with this yarn set.
