Hidden Valley Jasper

Description

Hidden Valley Jasper is a stunning type of jasper found in the Owhyee Mountains of Idaho and Oregon.  The picture of this slab, mined by Steve Schultz, was the inspiration for this colorway. Hidden Valley Jasper is unique in its wonderful combination of warm tans and rust browns with sections of pink and mauve. The colors are balanced by light gray.

I captured these colors into the yarn.  Skeins feature a soft gray tone with tans and browns, and speckled with pink and mauve.

80% Superwash Merino / 20% Nylon
Sport Weight
328 yards per skein / 100 grams
Machine wash gentle on cool (Hand washing is highly recommended to preserve the life of the finished item)
