Description
Inferno Cone (Basalt) is part of my Craters of the Moon Collection. The Inferno Cone is a huge cinder cone, sitting at the center of the Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve. Spectacular views can be seen in full 360 degrees from the summit of the Inferno Cone, that reaches 6,181 feet.
I felt like the Basalt color of the Inferno Cone was a great dark color to round out the collection. This is not a true deep black, but rather more of a charcoal color.

70% Superwash Merino wool, 20% Yak,
10% Nylon

Please note that color variations may occur from skein to skein as a result of hand dyeing. I have matched the colors in the photo as close as real life as possible however some differences may be noticed from monitor to monitor. Please also order as many skeins as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.
