Itasca Twilight

Description

Itasca Twilight is a brilliant sunset inspired colorway set. One skein is my Itasca in the Fall colorway, with pinks, purples, yellows and a bit of charcoal; and the other skein is my Iron Filigree colorway, the perfect contrast with its steel gray blue and hints of black. Iron Filigree is on my Worn Suitcase base and Itasca in the Fall is on my Broken Compass base.

This set was originally created for Casapinka’s Hug Shot. This shawl requires two skeins of at least 400 yards each, one in a solid color and the other in a speckled/variegated colorway.

Worn Suitcase base:
75% Superwash Merino wool, 25% nylon
Fingering Weight
462 yards / 100 grams
7-8 stitches = 1″ on #1-3 needles
21-32 sc = 4″ on B-E hooks
Machine wash gentle / Tumble dry low

Broken Compass base:
80% Superwash Merino / 20% Natural Bamboo
Fingering Weight
4 ply
436 yards / 100 grams
Machine wash cool / Tumble dry low (though I recommend hand washing your finished project for longevity)

Please note if a color is listed as a ‘backorder’ option, it will be dyed to order and may take up to a week to ship.

Please note that color variations may occur from skein to skein as a result of hand dyeing. I have matched the colors in the photo as close as real life as possible however some differences may be noticed from monitor to monitor. Please also order as many skeins as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.
