Description
Japanese Maple is the perfect autumn color. As fall approaches I’m reminded of the harvest festival that I went to in Hirosaki, Japan a few years back when I was living there. It was called the Kiku Matsuri, or Chrysanthemum Festival. The festival grounds had so many Japanese Maple trees that were just radiant with reds and oranges. I created this tonal color with subtle shifting of garnet and fire opal shades.

Please note that color variations may occur from skein to skein as a result of hand dyeing. I have matched the colors in the photo as close as real life as possible however some differences may be noticed from monitor to monitor. Please also order as many skeins as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.
