Prairie Grass Silk Mohair

Description

Prairie Grass is part of my new Mountain High, Prairie Wide tonal collection. Prairie grass takes on this lovely gray-green with a pale undertone of brownish yellow during mid to late summer. As it blows in the wind, it creates an almost lonesome but wild landscape. In some parts of the prairie, the roots can be as long as the grass above ground.

This complex colorway is a mixture of that slight yellow, gray-green color with subtle speckles of brown. The speckles are subtle enough that you won’t be able to see them until you’re close to the yarn. Now available on silk mohair. See the wool version here.

I have matched the colors in the photo as close as real life as possible however some differences may be noticed from monitor to monitor. Please also order as many skeins as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.
