Description
Dreaming of Sakura is a stunning three skein set that will awaken you from your winter slumber with bursts of floral hues. The days are getting longer with each passing one, and awakening life deep below the surface. The Sakura Matsuri (cherry blossom festival) in Japan is one event that has to be seen! The trees will be completely covered with soft pink blooms, but they only last a couple of weeks! Once the blossoms start to fall, the ground will appear to be covered in pink snow.
I tried to capture that in this three skein kettle dyed set. Dreaming of Sakura features one skein that is white with speckles of pink that brings to mind a fresh new blossom; a skein that is a wonderful tonal pink with hints of dark mauve to match the blossoms in full bloom. And the third skein is almost a light lavender gray with darker speckles of mauve to mimic a blossom in shadow, one ready to part ways with the tree. Imagine these floral tones intertwining in your next project!

This fingering weight yarn is so versatile that it could be used for anything – socks, shawls, baby items, gloves, hats, scarves. The possibilities are endless!
Please note that color variations may occur from skein to skein as a result of hand dyeing. I have matched the colors in the photo as close as real life as possible however some differences may be noticed from monitor to monitor. Please also order as many skeins as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.
