Description

Rise Up From the Mud is lotus flower inspired mini skein set.  Lotus flowers have adapted to slow moving rivers and deltas. They also thrive in ponds. Their seeds are planted and after a time, they rise up out of the mud to bloom on the water surface.

Lotus flowers have many symbolic meanings through different cultures. To the Chinese, they represent longevity.  Other cultures regard it as a symbol for purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration, and rebirth. Its characteristics are a perfect analogy for the human condition: even when its roots are in the dirtiest waters, the Lotus still reaches for the sun and produces the most beautiful flower.

This mini skein set features five skeins – a dark magenta pink, a soft pink, white, a light green, and an earthy dark green.

I have matched the colors in the photo as close as real life as possible however some differences may be noticed from monitor to monitor. Please also order as many sets as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.
