Description
These red pillars make up ‘gates’ that can be found all over Japan. These usually mark the entrance to the Shinto and Buddhist shrines; the division between the physical and the spiritual. They are usually unpainted or painted a bright brilliant red. They’ve become an iconic image all across Japan.
This yarn is a wonderful tonal red. It is a vibrant rich red with tones of a deeper scarlet throughout. These last two skeins do have a few patches of white through them, giving them a flecked look. I’m offering these at a discount due to that.
