Yellowstone Gold is a stunning combination of golds and browns. I was inspired by watching the Nature Relaxation Film “Summer in Yellowstone” , filmed by Roman Khomylak and produced by David Huting. This inspiration photo is a screenshot from their “Summer in Yellowstone” film. You can see their films here. This scene features colorful mineral deposits over rocks that have been carved away by glaciers and running water, where two elk had paused by the water. The buildup of minerals almost looked like snow on the ground, in combination with rich gold tones.
This colorway starts natural and then is speckled with golds, pale yellows, and brown tones.

Please note if a color is listed as a ‘backorder’ option, it will be dyed to order and may take up to a week to ship.
Please note that color variations may occur from skein to skein as a result of hand dyeing. I have matched the colors in the photo as close as real life as possible however some differences may be noticed from monitor to monitor. Please also order as many skeins as you need for your project as color variation may happen one dye lot to the next.
