You might recognize the famous line of “You Can’t Take the Sky From Me” from the wonderful show, Firefly, by Joss Whedon. It’s a favorite of mine! Did you know he actually wrote the main title song? I may have had the song stuck in my head when I was searching for a name for this colorway. 😉
This spectacular sunset was captured outside of Mekinock, North Dakota. A huge thunderstorm had just passed through and I knew the sunset would be an awesome one. I was not disappointed. The colors of this sunset stretched so far across the horizon that I had to take a panoramic photo to fit it all in. That’s where the name of You Can’t Take the Sky From Me came into mind.
This colorway stretches from a charcoal black to a periwinkle to a softer blue and then finishes with a brilliant golden orange.
